So Rob finally got me to start playing one of his old RPGs, and turns out, I like it! A lot! Who'da thunk? It didn't take very long for me to start falling in love with the characters, and I love the bond between Alex and Luna.
Right from when I started playing the game, cosplay ideas started brewing in my head. While working on a website for a friend of mine, I started looking around at other cosplayers' websites and came across a girl who did the most PERFECT Mia! After that, I knew that I had to cosplay as her.
This costume was fairly easy to construct, it just took a lot of time. I used simple lightweight cottons for the majority of the costume. This costume has a lot of triangles on it, and while they were failry easy to construct, there were parts of the costume where I had to carefully consider how they all lined up. I think the most difficult part of this costume, however, was the top, where the white bodice connects to the blue portion. I ended up cutting up an old t-shirt for the white, and sewing it to the blue broadcloth. I wore a white longsleeve shirt underneath, but sometime in the future, I may end up adding the white sleeves to the yellow puffed ones.
